MEET THE AVATAR
Lumber Guardian
The Lumber Guardian lives in the hush that follows a falling tree. It gathers the wood that can still shelter something and leaves the rest for the forest to reclaim. Its work is slow: a dry place to sit, a small fire, a branch that holds through winter. You may never hear it arrive. You will notice how much easier the silence feels.
