Account and order information
When you create an account, contact us, or place an order, we receive information such as your name, email address, account details, shipping and billing addresses, purchases, order notes, and relevant support messages. WordPress and WooCommerce maintain the account and order records behind our custom customer screens. Passwords are handled by WordPress authentication; our customer tools do not store or display your password in readable form.
Optional scent preferences
You may save favorite scents, a signature scent, preferred fragrance notes, notes to avoid, an avatar, and a birthday month and day. We use these choices to personalize your experience and help guide scent selections. You can skip them, change them, or remove them in your portal. We do not ask for a birth year in this guided intake. A saved birthday does not itself grant a discount or enroll you in messages.
Payments
Card entry and payment processing are handled by Stripe where Stripe is the payment provider. Our custom intake and profile forms do not collect full card numbers or card security codes. Our store may retain payment status, transaction references, Stripe customer or payment-method identifiers, and limited card details such as brand, last four digits, or expiration for billing and account display. A saved payment method refers to payment information held by Stripe. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its handling of payment information.
How information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts, process payments, fulfill and support orders, manage subscriptions and rewards, remember preferences, and operate the store. We record required terms acceptance and optional communication choices with their time, source, and relevant policy version. Account confirmation and password-reset messages are used to protect access to your account.
Email choices
Marketing email is optional and is not selected by default in our guided intake. You can change that preference in your portal or use the unsubscribe mechanism in a marketing message. Declining marketing does not prevent purchases or necessary order, account, security, and subscription communications. A stored opt-in records your preference; it does not promise a particular message schedule.
Service providers and disclosures
Providers that support hosting, payments, shipping, email delivery, store operations, and security may process information needed for their services. We may disclose information when needed to meet legal obligations, protect the store or customers, or address fraud. The site also has Google and Meta integrations; when their analytics or advertising features are enabled, those providers may receive browser or activity information under the relevant settings and choices.
Cookies and browser information
The site uses cookies and similar technology for account sessions, shopping-cart functions, preferences, security, and, where enabled, analytics or advertising. Server and security systems may receive technical details such as browser information, IP address, and access events. Use available cookie controls and browser settings to manage choices; disabling necessary cookies may prevent account or checkout functions from working. The account intake’s email preference is separate from cookie choices.
Retention and security
We keep information as needed for the purposes described here, including account service, transactions, security, and applicable accounting or legal obligations. Optional profile preferences can be cleared in your portal. Removing a preference or closing an account does not necessarily remove order records or evidence of earlier transactions and choices. We use access controls and the security features of our service providers; no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
You can update profile preferences through your portal. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about other privacy choices available under applicable law. We may need to verify ownership of the account before acting on a request, and may retain information where legal obligations or legitimate transaction and security needs require it.
Updates
We update this policy as the store and its services change. The date above identifies this version. If a change requires a new permission, we will request it through the relevant feature.
