Why Beeswax?
Beeswax is expensive, stubborn, and occasionally dramatic. Naturally, we chose it anyway.
It burns slow.
Beeswax has a higher melting point than a lot of common candle waxes, which helps give us that nice, slow burn. More whiffs for your money.
We like what its made of.
Bees make beeswax. Pretty straightforward. We blend ours with coconut oil to make it play nicer in a scented container candle.
It makes a damn good candle.
It’s warm, sturdy, beautiful, and has been used for candle making for centuries. Is it more expensive and occasionally a pain in our ass? Yep. We still prefer it.
